Your community’s own website — for building and caring for community

For associations and municipalities

Your community’s own website.

People, places and the community between them.

A website you own, where people find what they belong to: the place, what they own and the communities they are part of. Membership, payments and events are included, and we take care of hosting and maintenance.

The first meeting, up to one hour, is free.

The core with the modules around it: Membership, Events, Projects, Places, Properties, Newsletter, Forum, Notices, and room for more.
Every module plugs into the same core, so members, roles and access are shared.

No price per member

The price follows the site and the number of branches or residents.

No fee on payments

UT charges no transaction fee. The payment provider’s own charges apply separately.

Hosting and support included

Updates, security, bug fixes and short questions are part of the price.

Your data is yours

UT provides exports in open formats. How we handle data

Your own website. Room for your content.

Your own WordPress website.
With the tools for your community in place.

You get a ready-to-use WordPress website with tools for membership, payments and events. Build your own pages and publish content yourself. You own your data; we run and maintain the website and add features by agreement.

You shape the content

Build pages about your organization, activities and practical information. Publish text and images, and update the content when things change. You get the Site Manager role.

You own your data. You have the right to receive it in open formats, supplied by us. People using the website retain their rights regarding their own personal information.

We take care of the technical side

We set up the website with the core plugins, settings and tools for your community. Hosting, updates, backups, bug fixes and help with brief support enquiries are included under the package terms.

Need more features? We add plugins and customizations by agreement. We clarify the scope, license costs, setup and any ongoing fees before you approve the work.

What does “your own website” mean?

You have your own WordPress website for your organization, with your own pages and content. UT or an approved partner runs it and holds administrator access. Standard delivery does not transfer ownership of the server or plugin files. Hosting can be transferred between approved providers by agreement; this is not a self-service transfer service. If UT can no longer provide the service, you have the right to a copy of the installation under the contract terms, excluding the provider’s proprietary software and license keys.

Can we install plugins ourselves?

The Site Manager creates pages and content, but does not install plugins. Tell us what you need, and we will assess a suitable solution and add it by agreement.

What is included, and what costs extra?

Setup follows the agreed startup package. You create your own pages and content using the website’s features. Priced add-ons, new licenses and work beyond the agreed startup scope are charged separately. You approve an estimate or quote before extra work is carried out. Bugs in the system are fixed at no extra charge.

New functionality that requires development is agreed separately and depends on capacity and funding. The development becomes part of UT’s shared product package; this does not mean the customer’s content or data is shared.

How getting started works

Common questions

Why is there no price per member?

Because your costs should not rise when your organization grows. The price follows the website and the number of branches or residents.

Do you take a share of our payments?

No. Members pay by card, PayPal or invoice, and UT charges no transaction fee. The payment provider’s own charges apply separately. Vipps is available as an add-on.

Who runs the system?

United Technology, or a partner we have approved. You get your own installation and the Site Manager role, and we take care of hosting, updates and security.

What happens to our data if we leave?

You own your data. UT provides exports in open formats. Scope, delivery and handover if the service ends are specified in the agreement.

Is VAT included?

No. All prices exclude VAT.

Tell us about your organization.

We answer every enquiry ourselves and tell you honestly whether a package fits.
